Travels

Last year around this time, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Tennessee to work with an amazing Midwife. Not only did I learn so much and sharpen my skills but I was also able to enjoy some quiet time, reflect, pray, and make new friends. It was beautiful country and I enjoyed it tremendously, even though I did miss my dear family.

This year, I had the opportunity to travel again! I picked up a dear midwifery friend in DFW and we flew to Atlanta to meet another friend. Not only did we get the joy of learning more together, we also were able to have a peaceful time of edification and laughter! Midway through my trip, I parted ways and went to meet up with another midwifery friend. Though, midwifery brought us together, the Lord really purposed us to be deeply connected sisters. I’m so grateful for the time we were able to spend together, talking, hiking, playing with her children, praying and sharing. It was beautiful!
