Mother’s Day
On this day set aside to honor Mother’s, I’m filled with thankfulness for my amazing Beautiful Blessings. The ones I get to see and enjoy everyday with hugs and kisses and laughter and the precious little one that I did not get to hug and kiss. That I held in my body and in my hand for just a moment, but forever change my heart!
To the Mom who just found out you are wonderfully anticipating the arrival of a precious one in your arms.
To the Mom who is in the thick of it with littles, mud pies, long nights, and very little sleep.
To the Mom with teens adjusting to the changes and grasping tightly each hug.
To the Mom with adult children, appreciating watching them build their own family and give you amazing grandchildren.
To the Mom longing for the wayward child to come back.
To the Mom looking at a picture and wishing you had more time, but knowing they are with Jesus.
To the Mom who never had the joy of that second pink line, yet is a mother at heart.
To the Mom who takes care of all those the Lord brings your way, with compassion overflowing.
You deserve to be celebrated! This does not mean that today will only be filled with joy. You may, like me, have already shed some tears. I want you to know, you are seen. You are heard. Your life is precious, and you make a difference in this world!
“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” - Jesus (John 15:11)
